Claire Style Knit Shawl 2021
This beautiful Claire Style Knit Shawl is chiefly made with 100% Alpaca and Wool yarns. The colorway of this shawl is overall oatmeal and brown background with some rusty oranges and slight blues knit throughout. The yarn is very soft and undoubtedly will keep you warm and dry for many years. Because of the 100% wool composition of this shawl, it will generally keep water off of you as well.  This design was inspired by the shawl that Claire wore in the Outlander series.  I believe this is where I found a pattern. This Claire Style Knit Shawl 2021 measures:
60" wide around the collar area
43” to the tassel
6” tassel
Because it is knit, the shawl will stretch.
I made this shawl with Alpaca that I purchased directly from the Alpaca Farm, some wool yarns that I had in my stash, and a nice little knit-along to add a dash of subtle color.  Additionally, it must weigh about 2 pounds! It is very soft ( I promise) and very warm.  At any rate, this shawl will keep you warm, and stylish for years to come.  The Shawl comes with a hand-carved Shawl pin to assist with keeping it closed on those chilly days. The pin is in Celtic design.
